1. What condition must my KOMODO or KOMODO-X be in for the trade-in? To qualify for the full credit, cameras must be in good working condition and pass a sensor inspection at our AV8 service center. Minor cosmetic wear is generally acceptable, but the sensor and internal electronics must be fully functional.
2. Is this a 1-for-1 trade-in? Yes, the trade-in offer is applied on a one-for-one basis.
3. Does the credit apply to camera packs or just the body? The credit can be applied to standalone camera bodies, as well as the camera packs. This is a great way to subsidize the cost of moving into the DSMC3 accessory ecosystem.
4. Can I combine this with other promotions? This trade-in program is a standalone offer and cannot be combined with other manufacturer discounts or AV8 internal promotions unless explicitly stated.
5. How long does the process take? Once we get the details of your cameras and it’s in good working condition, your trade-in credit can be applied immediately to your new purchase.
6. When is the final day for the trade-in? The offer is strictly until March 15, 2026. We recommend submitting your enquiry before the end of February to ensure there is enough time for evaluation and stock allocation.
