The MU-STIX-G is a thumb drive-sized HDMI pattern generator designed for Murideo’s STIX large-deployment evaluation platform. Originally developed for AVPro Edge’s internal QC, STIX enables dynamic transmission, reception, and logging of test sources across 1,152 MXnet endpoints—far more efficient than using hundreds of Blu-ray players or displays.
The MU-STIX-G can generate test patterns from 720p/60 fps up to 8K/60 fps, including 4K/120 fps High Frame Rate. In stand-alone mode, a mini OLED screen displays the active pattern, resolution, bit rate, color space, and HDCP version-also viewable via the MU-STIX-CTL GUI.
STIX allows fast, in-house signal verification before deployment, ensuring endpoint devices are functioning correctly, respond to programming, and meet system specs.
For field use, the MU-STIX-G offers integrators a cost-effective, multi-resolution signal generator for simple pass/fail verification of transmission paths and display compatibility.
