This hands-on course will help you harness the full power of these advanced systems to create stunning, professional-grade video content. The skills you’ll learn apply across industries and roles. Minimum Entry Requirements and equipment
Learners should have basic spoken and written English as the course is conducted in English and there is an online test component. Learners should not have any physical or health issues that may affect their use of a camera
- Experience with photography and videography is useful but not necessary
Equipment and materials are provided. However learners are welcome to bring their own camera equipment and lenses to get guidance from our instructors.
Participants should dress comfortably with covered shoes and be prepared to carry equipment. This includes items like cameras ,accessories and video tripods. Practice shoots will happen in Air Conditioned and non Air Conditioned environments.
Participants should have an internet capable mobile device (phone or tablet) with the Singpass app installed for attendance and written assessment

Learners will gain the ability to shoot professional quality video on mirrorless cameras.
They will be able to
- Interpret features, functions and technical specs of mirrorless cameras and accessories to setup and inspect the mirrorless camera, ensuring that it is correctly fitted for compliance with technical requirements of the shot
- Operate mirrorless cameras to safely record sequences that meet the technical requirements of the production
- Control mirrorless camera movements to achieve desired framing and composition safely
- Coordinate with production team members to safely use a mirrorless camera to capture more complex camera shots that require the use of mounting equipment according to a shot plan
- Adjust mirrorless camera equipment and settings to compensate for variables that affect the quality of the footage

Assessment and Attendance Requirements
There is a 1 hour assessment conducted at the end of the course comprising of
Online Test - 25 min
Practical Exam : 35 min
Learners need to meet a min 75% attendance requirement and pass all assessments to be declared competent
