Shawn Fonseka started his media career in 1998 with a rental house and worked in various crew positions including PA, Junior Grip, Junior Camera Assistant, Film Clapper loader roles. He has experienced a wide variety of shoots and worked his way to First AC and DoP.
Shawn has assisted in AV8's camera and lighting courses since 2013, including several stints as a teaching assistant at REDUcation. He has also taught camera handling, camera movement, assistant camera roles, and studio lighting at ITE College Central as part of their Digital Filmmaking programme.
