Kevin studied at the Film ,Sound and Video program at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and setup his first company providing digital video encoding during the industry’s infancy in Singapore. He moved on in 2007 to co-found Widescreen Media Pte Ltd, a company that pioneered Stereoscopic 3D filming and consultation in this region. He trained the crew and filmed the first digital 3D movie in China “Flying Swords of Dragon Gate”(2011) directed by veteran HK Director Tsui Hark and had a box office of USD$100 Million. He has worked extensively on projects throughout South East Asia and China including providing stereoscopic consultation for Stephen Chow’s “The Mermaid 3D” and Korean VFX blockbuster “Mr Go”. He has been an expert RED camera user since 2007 and has conducted training for RED users throughout Asia including Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Malaysia.

The Second Coming was directed by famous cult director Herman Yau and starred Maggie Shiu Mei-kei, Kenny Wong Tak Ban and  Joey Leong. This was his most challenging stereoscopic project to date because of the extremely filming and editing style of the director. The confined nature of filming location in Hong Kong also added to the challenge.

- Detective Dee: The Prequel

Detective Dee: The Prequel is the second Stereoscopic movie by Director Tsui Hark, staring Mark Zhao You Ting and Angelababy. This was the prequel to the wildly successful "Detective Dee: Mystery of the Phantom Flame" Staring Andy Lau and Li Bing Bing.

He was the lead stereographer for the filming period and consultant during post and VFX. Duties  included managing the stereo team, designing the overall S3D concept, scrutinising each shot with the director and DP as well as troubleshooting the hardware

- Mr. Go

Mr. Go was an very ambitious stereoscopic movie  by director Kim Yong Hwa of "Two Hundred Pound Beauty", "Old Brother" and "Take Off". The film was the biggest S3D Korean movie to date. It was extremely VFX intensive as the main lead character is a full CGI Gorilla with photorealistic fur.
The stereoscopic style that we adopted for the show was one of a kind. 

- Flying Swords of Dragon Gate

Flying Swords of Dragon Gate is a 2011 wuxia film directed by Tsui Hark and starring Jet Li, Zhou Xun, Chen Kun, Li Yuchun, Gwei Lun-mei, Louis Fan and Mavis Fan. My role involved managing the 3D camera team on location. Setting up the 3D parameters for every shot after feedback from Director Tsui and DP Chai. Troubleshooting workflow and 3D equipment. Consulting on post and supervising depth grading. Consulting VFX vendor on achieving unified 3D expression.
