Main Features
The palm-sized Z50 is basically a computer that makes light. The Z50 can instantly changes from fully calibrated 5600°K to 3200°K white light with the push of a button. And you can throw away your gels because in color mode the Z50 can output any color of the rainbow - including pastels! Finding the color you need is fast and easy, with presets for storing your favorites.
Zylight's cutting-edge HD-led™ module is the brightest available with over 230 LEDs packed into a single square inch! Unlike 'projected' LED lights whose lenses cut the output down to 50° or less, the HD-led™ module casts 160° of beautifully soft light with no hotspots or fringing.
Plus ZyLink™ technology allows you to wirelessly link together multiple Z50's to create a soft LED source as large as you need! Z50's that are linked together act in concert as if they were one unified LED source, with adjustments made on one light changing all lights in the group. Now that's cool!
You can easily control the Z50's output by snapping on the Accessory Adapter, allowing you to easily mount any standard 3-inch lighting accessory you may already have, such as barndoors or a snoot

Zylink™ Wireless Technology
You don't need a large cumbersome light to get a big LED source. Wireless ZyLink™ technology lets you easily link together multiple Z50s to create a huge soft source of calibrated tungsten light, daylight, or any color of the rainbow.
ZyLink™ also means remote control capability since every Z50 can talk to any other Z50 from up to 30 feet away. You can set up a group of Z50s to Key a subject or wash a wall with color, then adjust their intensity from across the set while watching the monitor. No more running back and forth!
The Z50's small size allows it to be mounted in places where other lights just can't fit. And with ZyLink™ your hand doesn't have to fit there either since adjustments can be made remotely with another Z50! Scroll through colors, dim it down, "on and off" it, mix and match from one shoot to the next. The possibilities and configurations are endless.
