Storage has always been one of the biggest issues in post production. Anyone who worked in post production has had the experience of racking your brains trying to figure out where to move your files, so new projects can come in or having your hard disks struggle to play back your projects, especially when working with HD. Traditionally, we had to choose between size and speed, unless we're willing to pay ridiculous sums.

AV8 Media is proud to introduce a line of storage solutions that will change all of that.

Our storage solutions starts at 16 TB and go all the way to 24 TB. That's 51 hours of Full Uncompressed 1080i HD and our solution can handle data rates of up to 650 MB per second (read and write). Seriously a fast storage. It features built in redundancy, so you always know that your data is safe.

The AV8tor Tank series is very reasonably priced with the highest capacity 24TB solution costing 22K (excluding GST). This price includes 1 Fibre Channel card and on site installation and configuration.

We also have lower capacities of 12 TB and 16 TB as well. For those who need to configure their solutions for multiple user access please do let us know and we will configure and quote a solution for you.
